Swype !!

You just have to try this keyboard input on your android phone. It is perfect.

Just slide your fingers between the letters that construct the word and skype picks up all your strokes to assemble the word. Works pretty slick and fast.

Words can be added to its dictionary. It works well when used like a standard keyboard.

Sadly Swype is in a closed beta state so head on to their website to register for the application.

Trying out XDA developers application for Android.

Have been using it for a less than a day .. I like it.

New users can register for a account with XDA  in-app although it just opens the web browser to complete the registration process.

The layout is clear and its easy to navigate though the application.

I had 2 issues ... startup delay to check feeds and constant delay when the app needs data.

Switching to the app from eg. the home screen .. resulted in erratic behavior sometimes. 

Tested on a TMobile G1 .. FW 1.6
